I’ve heard Roppongi is where all the foreigners hang out – lots of clubs and fancy shopping I guess. Amy and I walked around here after our visit to Zoka – here are some pictures I took throughout the day.

we went to the temple in this park and bought fortunes for 100yen each but couldn't read them (rrr kanji). then we tied them to the tree (assuming we were supposed to) in hopes that they will come true--hopefully they weren't bad fortunes!

an art(?) exhibition outside of Tokyo Midtown
After this we went home and rested for a few hours then walked into town, had a snack and then did some serious karaoke for an hour. Hahaha, living here is too much fun.

The blue lighty thing is part of Illumination 2008 I think, where they light up the whole city apparently. I saw the akiba one yesterday and the rainbow bridge and tokyo tower being lit up, its pretty amazing looking. I think theres another in shinjuku worth checking out.

UG – thanks for the info. I saw another Illumination installation in Shiodome by Shimbashi station. It was quite pretty, maybe I’ll make a post about it.
