The University District building that formerly housed Tubs, a creepy hot tub place (not one that sold hot tubs, but rather that rented out private rooms with hot tubs for temporary use) has been condemned! Over the past few days Seattle graffiti artists have given it a little make-over – take a look!

FYI-Tubs was not condemned. The building was sold to a developer, who always intended to tear it down. It was not shut down for being too”creepy.” Get your facts straight before you bag on a Seattle landmark, dude.
Ooh my bad, I guess I should have read the “Notice of Proposed Land Use Action” more closely. Isn’t “sold to a developer who always intended to tear it down” virtually the same thing in the end anyway? And I didn’t say that the building was condemned for being creepy, as you seem to be implying here. Sorry if I offended you, I agree the building is a landmark, but I’ve heard more than a few sketchy stories about that place, so “creepy” is more or less a joke referring to those.
In any case, I did not make this post to celebrate Tubs getting torn down but rather the incredible art done on it. I hope that’s clear.
