So I’m over at Paul’s place and we’re supposed to be studying but instead he’s watching all these Guinness Book of World Records videos on youtube. How can I focus on my reading about American consumerism while listening to the world’s fastest talker in the background? I can’t. Haha. So I’ve decided to update this in the meantime.
All bike lanes should be this prominent! Speaking of bikes, I really wish I had more opportunities to ride mine! It rains everyday now. A conversation I had at the coffee stand the other day:
Allison: Have you been outside? Has it started raining yet?
Unknown person: Oh, no.. is it supposed to start?
Allison: Yeah I heard its going to rain all week..
Unknown person: I heard its going to rain for the next 5 months…
Probably more like 8. Man…I better start memorizing those bus schedules.
This is one of my favorite places to get coffee in Portland. Since its attached to Ace Hotel you get to see all the guests staying there go in and out.
I’ve never been here but I love the paint job. I think they host comedy shows here, not films. Seattle does have a lot of great old movie theaters though. I would really LOVE to go see Where The Wild Things Are in one of them, but I have pinky sworn my mother I will wait until Thanksgiving break to watch it with her.
I know what you’re thinking, vegan pizza?! Does that mean it doesn’t have cheese?! Yes, that’s what it means. I had my reservations too, friends, and I love this kind of stuff–but trust me-and even my non-veg friends- its amazing. I don’t know how they do it.
Ben smoking a cigarette? Nope, blowing his nose. He fell into Lake Washington while kayaking recently and got a cold.
As you can see, he did not appreciate the camera in his face.
Well, that’s all I’ve got for now. I guess I’m going to go see what I can do about these dang Guinness world record videos!

I wouldn’t so much as say, fell in Lake Washington.. just sort of ended up in it.. I hope I wasn’t included in the ‘non-veg’ friend category. haha
