It’s really beautiful here right now. I can’t stop taking pictures.
It’s also a bit melancholy though. I’m starting to feel nostalgic for my very independent and non-stressful life in Japan. Everything seemed to catch up with me this past week and I let it get to me and now I have a cold! I think that optimism translates into better overall health so I’m trying not to let school and work wear me out too much but its awfully difficult to maintain that sunny disposition when its so gray outside.

Anyway, this is really nice music:
I’m getting tired of my music, so if you have any recommendations I’d love to hear them. Pretty please.

it looks colder there than here.
as for music, i don’t know what you normally listen to, but any compilations by gilles peterson are great, esp. the brazilian ones.

I miss the weather in Japan – I couldn’t believe that it was still sunny there even in fall and winter! I had always taken for granted that winter=gray!
