Tsukiji Fish Market

I thought I would go to sleep early and do this tomorrow morning but I can’t sleep. These Pictures are actually from last Sunday. I remember seeing something about Tsukiji a long time ago on “Iron Chef,” when it was talking about where chef Marimoto gets his tuna – you’ve probably seen pictures of this place somewhere or another, its pretty famous for the 4am trading of GIANT tuna. We didn’t get there early enough to see the trading, haha, just went to eat extremely fresh sushi and look around.

One response to “Tsukiji Fish Market

  1. I really enjoyed this “market” series of photos. Everything is so jammed full of everything. Tons and tons of fish and and food items and then a teeny-tiny food stand with three chairs there for people to sit down and eat. Amazing! I also thought that a Costco in Japan was crazy. Where do they “store” the large quantities of food items that we are used to buying here? Thanks for the tour and keep up the good work. I’m enjoying it tremendously!
