六本木 * Around Roppongi

I’ve heard Roppongi is where all the foreigners hang out – lots of clubs and fancy shopping I guess. Amy and I walked around here after our visit to Zoka – here are some pictures I took throughout the day.

Actually I think this was still Akasaka - not in Roppongi yet

After this we went home and rested for a few hours then walked into town, had a snack and then did some serious karaoke for an hour. Hahaha, living here is too much fun.

  1. The blue lighty thing is part of Illumination 2008 I think, where they light up the whole city apparently. I saw the akiba one yesterday and the rainbow bridge and tokyo tower being lit up, its pretty amazing looking. I think theres another in shinjuku worth checking out.

  2. UG – thanks for the info. I saw another Illumination installation in Shiodome by Shimbashi station. It was quite pretty, maybe I’ll make a post about it.
