Aren’t these Knitted Trees in Pioneer Square charming? Suzanne Tidwell, an artist out of Sammamish, WA has turned this little corner of the neighborhood into the setting of a Dr. Seuss book and it looks marvelous!

Lovely photos! Just getting back into film myself, your blog is inspiring!
Thank you Erica! Do you have a blog? I’d love to see your photos :)
ohhhhhh those trees are amazing!!!
They are so cheerful!
cuddlycoo! tree socks, haha, the knits make them look like fun worms. I wonder if the birds & squirrels notice the difference.
i’ve always dreamt to see some knitting like these on trees ! That’s so sweet !
I love these, the colours are so summery! I’ve seen versions of this in Delft and Vancouver but these are by far the best.

Love these knitted trees – who wouldn’t want to hug them : )
When was this? I’m from the Seattle area and just stumbled upon your blog and love your pictures! I’m more of a writer than a photographer, but love finding places in the Puget Sound area to take photos of — of course, they’re nowhere near as good as yours, but you’re definitely giving me ideas. I’ll definitely be checking you blog out some more!
