Its so much fun to take pictures in southeast Portland.
These were taken on Belmont and Hawthorne. I have several more but I’ll spread them out over the next day or two. I’m back up at school so I have to be more sparing with my time again -_-. This quarter I have to take microeconomics, which is absolutely not what I want to study after taking that history of consumerism class, but I’ll live.
Thanks for all your film suggestions! I’d be happy to hear more – along with suggestions about where to buy these special film varieties, if you have them. I’m still working on my $9 roll – 36 is a lot of exposures!
Well, I’m off to bed! I’ll leave you with another fun song:
Anya Marina – Whatever You Like (T.I. cover)

were these photos taken with a film camera, as well? love the avalon sign.
best of luck with microeconomics. sounds like a ton of fun. :)
Yep, all photos I post are taken with a film camera unless I mention otherwise!
Eversince Avatar came out, everything I see that begins with ‘ava’, automatically registers as Avatar in my head! It’s annoying urgh. Great colour on the chairs. Southeast Portland looks like a place that embraces colour!
It is indeed! Did you like Avatar? I thought it was pretty but basically Pocahontas in space and with a happy ending.
That song is thoroughly planted in my head… as well, it is easier to tell how filthy it is in this version
heeeeeeey allison!
happy new year! I’ve been sick these days :(
