I wasn’t kidding when I said I had a ton of photos from Ben’s visit on the way. You know I actually still have a bunch of pictures from my trip to Hawaii in January to share too…maybe I should just start uploading to Flickr again.
Here are some silly photos of us playing around in Sculpture Park (the Seattle Art Museum’s outdoor gallery of sorts). Add it to your list if you haven’t been, it’s a very nice place to spend an afternoon! There’s also a beautiful new sculpture there that you can see in the 3rd photo. I had a very hard time pulling myself away from it..
Hope you’re all having a wonderful week! :)

I love the sculpture park! It’s definitely one of my favourite places in Seattle. Also your dress is super cute!

Wow! That looks like such a nice park Allison! That last picture of you is lovely :)
Thanks MK! So nice to hear from you!
I was in Seattle last year but I didn’t see this! Very cool. :)
Bummer! I think it was just a temporary installation but they do them there all the time so you’ll have to swing by the area next time you visit!
Beautiful photos — and BTW, this is Seattle? It looks so…sunny!!!
:)
Yep, it’s Seattle. Can you believe it? We actually do have some good days here during the summer :)
Enjoyed your pictures! Congrats on being Freshly Pressed!
Thank you Lakia!
Interesting. Is the name the legacy of any particular year’s Olympics?
Living in the UK, one wonders what will be the legacy of the London ones next year…
I think it’s named for the view of the nearby mountains. Interesting question about the legacy of the Olympics though!
cute pics and the park looks fabulous! thanks for sharing
Reminds me of the time I went to a sculpture park
in Washington D.C. The sign’s said not to touch
them but there was one – only one – that invited you
to sit on it – I wonder if it was some kind of intrapment?
Konnichiwa, Ali san. ^^
That’s such a great place to explore.
Hope we’ll have something similar in London.
Konnichiwa! I bet there are tons of cool places like this there. I’d love to explore London someday :)
Ha! How odd… did you sit on it?
That looks kinda cool! Guess I’ll have to take a trip up North :D
I adore that park. Such a great addition to Seattle.
Interesting photos!
Nice shots, looks like a cool place
Very cool, love the “random” chairs!
Thank you for you share!
compared with the park, i like the couple better, looks very matching and cool :P
Heh, thank you :) I’ll have to let my friend Ben (the guy in the pictures) know!
Definitely want to visit this! Thanks.

Hi Allison. My name is Bridget and I’m new to wordpress, so I’ve just been exploring different blogs that come up on Freshly Pressed and I found yours. I’m more of a person who expresses themselves through words than photos, so I find what you say through pictures fascinating. I love the Oh, The Places You’ll Go! post because that book is one of my favorites. I’m curious to see where you’ll take me next! Have a fabulous day, and feel free to check out my blog. :-)
Hi Bridget! Thank you so much for taking the time to comment, it means a lot to me. I’d love to check out your blog – do you have a link to it? (Sorry I know this reply is super late!)
My girlfriend and I visited the Olympic Sculpture Park this month (August 2011) and took some pictures. Check them out on flickr: http://bit.ly/pNwXgx
These are great! Was there an event going on the day you visited or was it just that busy? I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many people there!
Nice shots! Can I know, what type of camera you used for taking those picture?
Thank you.
Thanks Tiyok! I use a Canon Rebel EOS K2 film camera.
Great pics, I especial love the last one; great timing!
